CHEMOTHERAPY
Chemotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses one or more anti-cancer drugs as part of a standardized chemotherapy regimen. Chemotherapy may be given with a curative intent, or it may aim to prolong life or to reduce symptoms.
IMMUNOTHERAPY
Immunotherapy or biological therapy is the treatment of disease by activating or suppressing the immune system. Immunotherapies designed to elicit or amplify an immune response are classified as activation immunotherapies, while immunotherapies that reduce or suppress are classified as suppression immunotherapies.
BIOLOGICS
A biologic drug (biologics) is a product that is produced from living organisms or contain components of living organisms. Biologic drugs include a wide variety of products derived from human, animal, or microorganisms by using biotechnology.
IV IRON
Iron infusion is a procedure in which iron is delivered to one’s body intravenously, meaning into a vein through a needle. This method of delivering medication or supplementation is also known as an intravenous (IV) infusion. Iron infusions are usually prescribed by doctors to treat iron deficiency anemia.

IMMUNOGLOBULIN THERAPY
Immunoglobulin therapy, also known as normal human immunoglobulin, is the use of a mixture of antibodies to treat a number of health conditions.
PHLEBOTOMY
A phlebotomy is the process of making a puncture in a vein usually in the arm, with a cannula, for the purpose of drawing blood. The procedure itself is known as a venipuncture.

Kimberly Nell is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate BSN degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Kimberly then earned her master’s degree in Adult Oncology, also from Thomas Jefferson University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nursing Society.
Mysti is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree, as well as her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honor society, as well as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nursing Society. Mysti joined our practice in November 2015 as a chemotherapy infusion nurse, and has proudly continued her career as a nurse practitioner here at our office. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and playing with her Great Danes, Bentley and Trigger.
Jennifer Clark is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate BSN degree from the University of Delaware. Jennifer then earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University. Jennifer is currently pursuing her doctorate degree. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honor society, as well as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nursing Society.
Dr. Vijay Sandilya is coming with several years of experience in taking care of patients with advanced cancer and complex blood disorders. Dr. Vijay Sandilya served as the Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and as the Medical Director of Medical Oncology and infusion services at AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute.
Dr. Omar Al Ustwani is board certified practitioner in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology.
Dr. Benjamin Negin has been proudly serving the cancer patients of South Jersey since 2010 at Southern Oncology Hematology Associates. Having moved to NJ at the age of two from Ohio, he has always viewed himself as a Jersey native. After completing high school, he traveled to receive both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at Yale University. Upon graduation, Dr. Negin moved to Boston in order to undergo his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess, a training hospital of Harvard University. He completed his training at Fox Chase Cancer Center, in Philadelphia, where he received his certifications in both hematology and oncology. His academic work has been published in prominent journals such as Cancer and Clinical Cancer Research.
In addition to working with all patient who have blood or cancer related disorders, Dr. Negin is passionate about improving the overall health care of the population of South Jersey. He serves on the medical executive committee of the Inspira Health System. He also is a member in good standing of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and The American Medical Association (AMA). He lives in South Jersey with his wife and two sons. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Negin serves the community as a scout leader, training youth in citizenship, outdoors skills, and environmental stewardship. He enjoys camping, fishing, and any excuse to be outside with his family.
Shailja Roy, M.D. is board certified in Internal medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. Dr. Roy completed three-year residency in internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center, New York where she became increasingly interested in working with cancer patients. She was recognized as the intern of the year 2000-2001.
Kush Sachdeva, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. He completed both his Internal Medicine as well as a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at prestigious Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center. (
