CONTACT OUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE HELP LINE
Your primary ally in your fight with cancer & blood disorders.
SOHA provides medically necessary care to individual patients without discrimination, regardless of their ability to pay, ability to qualify for financial assistance, or the availability of third-party coverage. As a courtesy to our patients, we offer financial assistance to qualified patients who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise do not have adequate resources to pay for medically necessary procedures. Financial assistance applications are processed in accordance with this policy (For a copy of this policy, please contact our Front Desk). Any accounts that occurred more than 90 days previously will not be considered for financial assistance.
Our program is a payer of last resort and if the patient qualifies for another program, including, but not limited to: government sponsored insurance like Medicaid or Affordable Care Act insurance plan and has chosen not to utilize the program, they are not eligible for our financial assistance program. A denial from subsidized insurance plans like Medicaid may be required before another program may be utilized. If denial cannot be obtained, SOHA will work with the patient to arrange payment terms based on unique circumstances and in accordance with SOHA’s payment policy.
